 About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in the NHS in a variety of different services, supporting people through a wide range of challenges. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, with a strong belief in creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where people feel understood, heard, and supported.

I have worked extensively with working age adults, drawing on a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and systemic ways of understanding relationships and contexts. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is a highly effective therapy for processing traumatic experiences. During my training, I also gained experiences of working with younger people (typically 11+) and neurodivergent clients.

Throughout my career, I have supported people experiencing:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety disorders (including phobias and health anxiety)
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Complex trauma
  • Trauma relating to critical illness and hospitalisation
  • Relational and interpersonal difficulties
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Periods of high distress and mental health crisis

At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens within safe and compassionate relationships. I aim to walk alongside people on their journey, helping them to make sense of their experiences, discover new ways of coping and healing, and reconnect with hope for the future. My goal is to support people in moving towards the life they want to be living, with every step guided by their own needs, values, and pace.
